I'M BUILT DIFFERENT

The biggest problem with politics today is today's politician. And, I'm not the only one who believes this, I'm sure.

In fact, if you agree that too many politicians care more about control, power, and keeping their positions than keeping their promises, vote for me and you'll see - I'm built different.

SOMEONE NEW IN 22

I'm not a career politician. I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth. And, I'm not better than anyone. Of course, I have ample shortcomings but, I also feel an deep desire to help make the world a better place - right now.

  • Kind

MY LIFE EXPERIENCES HAVE PREPARED ME TO BE YOUR CONGRESSMAN

I earned a college degree. I'm paying back student loans. I've lived in the area since 2007. I have a mortgage. I've led large and small teams of super smart people. I've managed big budgets and small budgets. I've been promoted. I've earned raises. I've received industry awards. I've been laid off. I've collected unemployment. I've had (and have) children in our schools. I've had great healthcare benefits. I've been without healthcare benefits. And, I have a dog and a cat.

In short, I'm your neighbor. And, I'm ready to take our issues to Congress as District 22's next representative. Vote for me and I'll work on your behalf as hard as I can.

HISTORY

In 1991, I sat next to an amazing young woman in a Texas History class. In 1993, with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southwest Texas Sate University, I became the first person on either side of my family to earn a college degree. In 1995, I married that amazing young woman I used to sit by in Texas History.

In 1996, we moved to NW Houston. I put my Bachelor of Arts degree to use by working at an ad agency in NW Houston. We had a happy, healthy baby girl in 1998. We moved to West Houston in 1999. In 2003, my wife became a teacher in Katy.

I worked at some of Houston's biggest and best marketing agencies up through 2006 and then went client-side to head up an education-industry-related organization's marketing department.

We had a preemie baby boy, born during an ice storm, in 2007 (thank you Texas Women's Hospital). We built a home in District 22 the same year. Around that time I began working at/with different energy and oil and gas services companies. We helped get a daughter through high school, watched her graduate from college, and are thrilled to see her at UTMB in Galveston, studying to be a physicians assistant. The preemie baby boy is thriving as a junior high school student as well.

That's more than enough about me. What can I do for you? Please drop me a line and let me know - nothing would mean more to me.
